Statistics made easy!
It's a necessary tool for anyone in education, economics, statistics,
business management or social sciences. It handles a sample size of up to
fifty data points and calculates
- total of all data points,
- mean value of the sample,
- median value of the sample,
- standard deviation of the sample, and
- standard deviation of a population.

Entering data points is easy. Just key in a value and press <Enter>.
The calculator keeps track of how many data points have been entered and
displays the sample size in the top left corner. It calculates the total,
mean, median, and standard deviation of your sample with a single key
press. And it even sorts your sample for you when you calculate the median.
You can retrieve your sorted sample, one value at a time, by repeatedly
pressing the CLR and + keys.
It's based on my free RPN calculator, so it
handles all of the basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction,
multiplication and division) and has a 50-value internal stack to handle
the most complex nested calculations. And, unlike the calculator software
that came with your PDA, it also handles exponents.

This simple statistical calculator requires Palm OS v3.0 or better. That
means that it will work with just about any Palm powered PDA made after
March of 1998.
