Little Wizard Stories of Oz (1913)
The eighth volume in the Oz series is a collection of short stories. The
stories in this collection are:
- The Cowardly Lion And The Hungry Tiger
- Little Dorothy And Toto
- Tiktok And The Nome King
- Ozma And The Little Wizard
- Jack Pumpkinhead And The Sawhorse
- The Scarecrow And The Tin Woodman
(Although this book was the eighth volume that was published in Mr. Baum's
series, it is not normally given a number in that series, since it was written
for a slightly younger group of readers than the other fourteen volumes in the
set and was, therefore, treated as a volume separate from the set. Whenever
the Oz books are listed inside the covers of the Oz volumes, this book of
short stories is not normally listed among those other, numbered volumes of
the series.)
